Share on How We Can Improve Your Biking Experience in Mission Viejo

The City of Mission Viejo is planning a project to improve the biking experience of the locals by developing a Bikeway Master Plan!

As of now, we’re still gathering more information on how to make this plan better. We’d love to know how you want to bike your way through Mission Viejo. This way, we’ll have a better understanding of the current cycling trends as well as preferences in the city.

Last January 26, Mission Viejo locals participated in the City’s first Family Fun Bike Fair, held at the Norman P. Murray Community Center. Aside from the free bike rodeo, there are also interactive booths in the area, fun activities, and the opportunity to share their insights about the Bikeway Master Plan.

We encourage everyone to engage in our community’s planning process. Share your insights by visiting the Social Pinpoint Interactive platform ( for your concerns and suggestions to make biking in Mission Viejo improved.

  3. Once a marker is placed, you can proceed to add a comment or a photo for more information.
  4. You can drop as many markers as needed.

Here’s what the City’s proposed plan will do:

  • Increase the present Mission Viejo’s network of trails
  • Add trails and trail links in existing open space/drainage channels
  • Provide access to sidewalks along principal arterials
  • Improve access to the regional trails that border Mission Viejo along its eastern and western City boundaries
