No tricks, just treats for dog lovers: here’s how!

Going crazy over wanting to teach your dogs simple tricks? Here’s your chance to learn from award-winning dog trainers. Amazing dog tricks await for everyone who visits Norman P. Murray Center on March 19, 2019, at 5:15 p.m.

Larry Kay, writer of the award-winning ‘Training the Best Dog Ever’ will be there. He’ll be joined by Chris Perondi, one of the USA’s top stunt and trick trainers. Prepare to be dazzled with his furry friend and esteemed cover star, Vinny Valentino. They’ll present at 6:00 pm at 24932 Veterans Way.

The coauthors of ‘The Big Book of Tricks for the Best Dog Ever: A Step-by-Step Guide to 118 Amazing Tricks and Stunts,’ Chris and Larry, will also be there. They’ll explain the benefits of positive reinforcement and steps on tailoring a training session to your pup’s learning style. After these fun activities, this program ends with a bang as Vinny Valentino does mini-tricks to show how to teach a simple trick. A Q&A portion will follow.

A Whale of a Tale Bookshoppe will sell books onsite. Note that patrons who’ll buy one will have the chance to meet Chris and Larry along with Vinny. For questions and clarifications, Mission Viejo Animal Services staff will be there to assist. Volunteer opportunities and queries about the city’s animal center and programs will be catered. Seating is on a first-come, first served basis. Come as you are, but no pets allowed.
