The use of illegal drugs has been a long-standing problem in the US. Many groups have made actions and programs to help raise awareness of this alarming problem in the society. The City of Mission Viejo and Orange County Sheriff’s Department will also do their part to let the public know the terrible effects of drug use and abuse.
On Saturday, October 19, 2019, join the city’s 31st Annual Walk Against Drugs and Community Fair at Mission Viejo High School. In line with this event, the City of Mission Viejo will also be hosting the 12th Annual South County Disaster Preparedness Expo.
At 8:00 AM, attend the rally at MVHS Stadium. The rally will start at the La Paz Road through the Oso Creek Trail and walk down to the Community Fair and Disaster Preparedness Expo.
After the rally, everyone can join the Expo. You will see interactive community booths, resources, and educational displays. There will also be food and games for purchase, as well as entertainment and games for all ages! So, take part in this event. Registration is absolutely FREE!
