Mission Viejo has a fun activity for children this summer!

Develop the literacy skills of your kids and help them build confidence through reading. On July 20th, all children aged 7 and up can join Reading Rocks at the Friends Storytime Room at the Civic Center in Mission Viejo. The program will start at 11:00 AM, and it will be a 45-minute fun and interactive reading activity.

Reading Rocks will encourage your child to read a story to a teenage reading buddy. Your kids can bring their own storybook for reading. Or they can pick a story from the Library’s collection and read it to their chosen partner.

This summer program will bring together children and teens to encourage and improve their reading and pronunciation skills. That’s something to sharpen your their minds and keep them productive during the school break.

Hurry up and book a slot! Space is limited and everyone who wants to join must register. You won’t have to pay anything because registration is FREE.

To reserve, please contact the Youth Reference Desk at 949-830-7100, ext. 5107 or email
