Mission Viejo’s annual Earth Day and Arbor Day celebration is here again. This time, it’s filled with planting and Green Expo activities from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, April 25.

Every participant should wear a pair of gloves, a hat, boots, and sunscreen. Volunteers are welcome to be part of this activity, which will happen at Christopher Park, 26801 Valpariso Drive. Free hotdogs and ice cream will be served to everyone until supplies last.

Aside from the planting activity, Mission Viejo is also hosting a Green Expo at the park. It will feature environmental exhibits and earth-friendly events. People can learn about recycling, pollution prevention, and many more.

This event is free for all, so make sure to register in advance. Fill out the application and waiver form and send the forms to greenmv@cityofmissionviejo.org.
