Pillars Academy in Mission Viejo is private Islamic child care. The facility is established by the Orange County Islamic Foundation (OCIF). Pillars Academy bases its programs on the ‘Developmental Approach’ of learning. With that approach in mind, they made programs fitted for ages and their developmental milestones. Here, they’ll learn and play like how kids should be doing while discovering Islam.

Here are the programs available in Pillars Academy:

Infants (3-8 months)

This program lets babies stay in a safe environment with experienced teachers. There’s a designated crib for every young infant and cot for older ones.

Toddlers (19 months to 3 years old)

The program for toddlers includes learning through a play-based curriculum. A toilet training experience is also taught here.

Pre-School Program (3-4 years old)

This program is student-centered. It focuses on developing early childhood development.

Pre-Kindergarten Classes (4-5 years old)

In this program, they’ll learn a whole lot more with cross-disciplinary units aligned with California Early Childhood Framework and Common Core readiness. Arabic language development is also emphasized.

Kindergarten Classes (5-6 years old)

It’s a highly academic program where children learn from dedicated and caring teachers.
